Hey everybody, I hope you all had a fantastic 2009 year..well 2010 is here and it's time to get busy all over again..
A good friend of mine had recently got into RC, he asked me to help him put together a electic buggy from the ground up, so I decided to get him started with all top notch hardware & equipment... so I helped him get a MBX6 with a Tekin setup, I just finshed putting it together and hopefully he'll like it.. I decided to put my not yet released battery tray on his vehicle, so I can further do proper testing..
Well here are some pictures of the semi completed E-MBX6..
As you can see from the pictures, my battery tray uses only 1 vecro strap for quick change purposes, I also went with a very durable 1" wise strap which I will be selling separately very soon
Here is my ESC mount, it is separate from the battery tray so you can mount anywhere you please, plus making it a 2 piece design will reduce stress points, a typical one piece battery/esc tray will have stress points due to the stiffness, if the chassis wants to flex it will either crack the tray or strip the screw holes..
The bottom of the esc tray has a cross channel relief for zip ties..
Here is the riser block, look closely and you will see I machined a channel so you can route the esc wire and have it securely hidden.
when it is attached to the battery tray the wire is sandwiched and totally hidden.
Another cool feature is the ability to adjust the tray for ideal weight balance, look at picture..

Due to the cost of making these battery trays, I will only release a limited amount and stop production..If I'm able to get the cost down in the near future then I will consider making more, so as of now I will only release a limited amount of 25 trays... I will update soon on the release date.
Another update is that the Xray 808 mounts will be back in stock in roughly 2 weeks, on the same release date will also be the much anticipated Hyper 9E & Hyper 10SC motor mount. There is another surprise which I will leave in mystery for now..
I will leave for Vacation this Thursday 01/07/2010 and be back on 01/14/2010, so orders within that time period will be shipped when I get back.
